• OCTOBER GENERAL MEETING - Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (set-up, social time, and buying raffle tickets beginning at 5:30 pm)
Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE We will hold our annual Board elections (see the article in this newsletter for a description of the available positions). Twyla Caudill will show us how to decorate hair combs using beads and wire. They are simple to make and easy to wear.
  - Members need to bring: * Jewelry-making tools – especially pliers and wire cutters * Beads (should be 8mm or smaller – remember, you don’t want these combs to be too heavy so they will stay in your hair) * Magnifiers, as needed
  - We will also have our annual Halloween party (costumes are optional). Don’t forget to bring your money for raffle tickets (raffle tickets are $3 each or 6 for $15).

• SANTA FE RAILRUNNER TRIP.  October 21st   Join BSNM members on a field trip to Santa Fe via the Railrunner. (Seniors ride free on Wednesdays.)
