Monthly General Meetings – Meet with other beaders and artists, often with presentations or classes.  At each meeting there is a door prize giveaway and a raffle (winner takes home beading or crafting supplies).

Beading Classes – Members are offered various low-cost classes held throughout the year.

Business Discounts – Many of our business members offer excellent discounts for members.

Annual Field Trips/Bead Retreats – Each year, members can attend annual field trip or bead retreat.

Annual Gala (in place of January meeting) – Members, and a guest, can attend annual, themed party with special food, giveaways, raffles, and fun.

Bead Swap – Each February, members can bring their unwanted beads, findings, and tools and swap with other members.

Special Member Shopping – Members can purchase beads and supplies that have been donated to BSNM at discounted pricing.  Click here to see the list of area bead stores and member discounts.

Volunteer Opportunities – Volunteer to help at the BSNM Fiber Arts Fiesta booth, New Mexico State Fair competitions, Turquoise United Symposiums, and other events.  It’s always fun and exciting!  Plus BSNM now has a volunteer incentives program – you earn points to purchase bead supplies or classes!  Click here for details!

Charitable Opportunities – Each year BSNM membership selects non-profit organizations or individuals for donations (funds, materials, or BSNM class scholarships).  For example, for last few years we have made hundreds of bracelets and necklaces for donation to Operation Christmas Child (part of the Samaritan’s Purse Organization).
