The January 23, 2015 meeting was busy and fun!   Antoinette Sedillo-Lopez, Executive Director of Enlace Communitario, was on hand to provide an overview of the organization and explain how their programs developed.  President Jill Bartel presented Ms. Sedillo-Lopez with a check on behalf of the Bead Society.

Patti Farley, Program Director, took advantage of the first meeting of 2015 to go around the room to have the many new members and guests introduce themselves to encourage people to get to know each other and start conversations.  To help in this effort, the group activity was to use miscellaneous items to start nametags.  The goal was to begin them at the meeting, take them home to finish, then bring them back for judging at the February meeting..... prizes will be awarded!  Sample nametags:
