BSNM has several events during the year that provide opportunities for volunteering.   These include (but are not limited to):

Annual Gala - Every year BSNM hosts a New Year Party for all our members and their family/friends.  We always need help with decorations, food, donations, and set up/take down activities.  We gather donations from fellow bead friends that we raffle off at the event.  It is always a lot of fun and lots of food!

Placitas Flea Market - Every year in June, BSNM has a booth in which we sell donated items from our Members and other Bead Artist to the general public.  This helps us fund projects like teaching basic bracelets and/or necklace stringing at several libraries in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.

Turquoise United Symposium - Every other year in August BSNM has a booth (donated to us by The Turquoise Museum).  The booth is at the Turquoise United Symposium Gem Show. Members can display and sell turquoise items - plus we can explore and purchase from turquoise dealers from all over the world.  It's a wonderful opportunity. 

NM State Fair - BSNM sponsors the State Fair Jewelry and Beadwork Competitions each year. In August BSNM members volunteer to intake items for competition. After the Fair is done in September our volunteers return the items to their owners - along with any Ribbons they have won!
