Class Description: This is a beginner introduction to UV Resin. Students will make two pendants. You will learn how to place a sticker into the resin and dome the resin in layers.  This helps to magnify the pieces in the resin.  You will also learn how to embellish the piece using UV resin to attach your embellishments.

Instructor Information:

Helene was born and raised in Golden, NM where she first saw how beautiful nature can be. Her mother and grandmother made beautiful, beaded leather jackets and moccasins for Pioneer Wear in Albuquerque. She sorted beads for them and watched them work and was drawn to the sparkle of beads at age 7 and has been designing art ever since. She has lived several places in the Southwest and has created jewelry, stained glass (she also had a stained-glass shop), and accessories. Some pieces were highlighted and sold through the New Mexico Uniqueables Catalog. She became interested in Resin about 3 years ago and has been educating herself ever since. Helene has found the combination of beads and resin satisfying and therapeutic and is excited to now be teaching others!
