Class Description: This is a beginner introduction to UV Resin.  Students will learn the process of using a free form piece to build off of.  You will learn how to mix glitter into the resin in order to build the mixture and form the piece.  You will be able to produce any shape and size you like. The mixture is thick enough to form a Geode Shape using several colors that will not run into each other.

Instructor Information:

Helene was born and raised in Golden, NM where she first saw how beautiful nature can be. Her mother and grandmother made beautiful, beaded leather jackets and moccasins for Pioneer Wear in Albuquerque. She sorted beads for them and watched them work and was drawn to the sparkle of beads at age 7 and has been designing art ever since. She has lived several places in the Southwest and has created jewelry, stained glass (she also had a stained-glass shop), and accessories. Some pieces were highlighted and sold through the New Mexico Uniqueables Catalog. She became interested in Resin about 3 years ago and has been educating herself ever since. Helene has found the combination of beads and resin satisfying and therapeutic and is excited to now be teaching others!
