I started beading in the mid-1980s taking classes by various local designers. When Bead Obsession opened, I began teaching classes. When Bead Obsession closed, I started teaching at A Few of My Favorite Beads. I have various designs, and this class is one of them. 

Class Description:

This class uses peyote stitch to create a triangular shape that will hold a 14mm Rivoli in the center. The back can be a solid triangle piece or can also hold a 14mm Rivoli. The rope is created using a chenille stitch. Knowledge of Peyote would be helpful, but it’s not required. This is a beginner to intermediate class.

This class is limited to 8 students.

Cost $30 

Materials:

Students will select their own bead colors based on the following: (most materials can be purchased at A Few My Favorite Beads shop the day of class – or before).

- 1-2 14mm Rivoli

- 10 grams of 3-4 colors size 11 Delicas for each side or you may use same colors for second size

- 2 colors of size 11 seed beads for rope

- Clasp, any size or type will work

- 2 wire guardians

- 6lb fire line or thread of choice

- Size 11 needle

- Beading surface such as a beadboard (some bead mats will be available)

- Scissors

- Magnifier, if needed
